CM1 Actuarial Mathematics is one of the core actuarial papers. It combines financial mathematics with life contingencies, making it one of the most important foundations of the actuarial syllabus. It is available through both the institutes, Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) and the UK-based Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).

CM1 is divided into two parts:
