CM1 Actuarial Mathematics is one of the core actuarial papers. It covers the mathematical and statistical principles used to model cashflows, financial products, loans, annuities, bonds, and insurance contracts. It combines financial mathematics with life contingencies, making it one of the most important foundations of the actuarial syllabus. It is available through both the institutes, Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) and the UK-based Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA).

CM1 is divided into two parts:

Praveen Patwari is a Qualified Chartered Accountant who has cleared 14 out of 15 Actuarial Science papers. He began teaching in high school and has trained 5000+ students.
