Responsibilities

As an Actuarial Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Special Projects team in developing and executing complex projects involving actuarial analyses, modelling, and data analysis. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with other team members to gather data and providing support during modelling and analysis.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of the analysis and modelling process.
  • Working closely with actuaries to prepare reports and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributing to the development of cutting-edge actuarial techniques and tools.
  • Working with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Eligibility

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), with a relevant major
  • 0 to 6 years of work experience in an actuarial / research role
  • Great actuarial exam progress (min. two exam passes) commensurate with the quantum of experience
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Familiarity with R, Python, Excel, SQL or other similar software
  • Great communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, and in MS Office Suite
