There are two ways for completion of COMPANY SECRETARY course:-

  1. CSEET (Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test)
  2. Foundation Programme.

CSEET

It is the entrance test for the students directly taking entry into the CS Executive programme.

Eligibility

  1. A candidate passed / appearing in the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination or equivalent thereto shall be eligible to appear in the CSEET. 
  2. All Graduates/ Post Graduates who were eligible for registration directly to CS Executive Programme, shall also be required to pass the CSEET to become eligible for registration to CS Executive Programme.

 

Exception

  1. Candidates who have passed CS Foundation Programme shall be exempted from CSEET without any payment of exemption fee. 
  2. Candidates who have passed the Final Examination of ICAI and/or ICMAI are exempted from CSEET and shall pay Rs. 5000 towards exemption fee at the time of Registration to CS Executive Programme.

 

Passing Criteria

A Candidate must clear by getting 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate.

 

Examination procedure

This is an online exam of 200 marks taken in MCQ format. The timespan of the exam is 2 hours.

Foundation  Programme

Eligibility:

A Candidate must clear the Senior Secondary (10+2) examination or any equivalent examination for appearing in this course.

EXECUTIVE PROGRAMME

Eligibility:

Clear the Foundation Programme or CSEET programme to enter in this course.

                                                OR

Clear executive level from ICAI / ICMAI OR completion of graduation.

  1. If giving Group I only then 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate.
  2. If giving both the groups then 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate of both groups.

 

Exemption criteria

Candidates should secure 60% marks in the paper to get exemption while attempting all the papers.

 

PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMME

Eligibility

The candidate must clear both the groups of the Executive Programme to be able to qualify for this level. Further, the 30 days training programme under ICSI, and a minimum of 2 years of internship under any specified entity must be completed.
