Responsibilities :

  • Develop understanding and knowledge on IFRS17
  • Support team members in analysis and reporting under IFRS17
  • Assist in formulating implementation plans and management of such plan
  • Precise and timely completion of implementation tasks within the plan
  • Contribute towards actuarial planning at a Legal Entity/ Regional level
  • Provide training and support for systems and calculation engines where local actuaries are completing tasks
  • Assist local entities with regulatory requests such as quantitative impact studies.
  • Prepare written documentation and presentations on the results of technical analysis.
  • Provide support in documenting current processes and new IFRS requirements.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics or equivalent field
  • 1+ years of experience in the P&C actuarial domain with steady exam progress
  • Practical experience in insurance accounting (USG, IFRS4, Other) is a plus
  • Knowledge of insurance accounting principles
  • Strong data organization, analytical, modelling, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient IT skills including ability to apply some of the advanced features of Word/ Excel/ Power point
