Responsibilities :

• Estimate the claims reserves using various actuarial techniques. Ensure that appropriate methods and models are used while calculating these reserves.
• Comparing benchmarking of estimated against actual on a monthly basis
• Provide these reserves to finance team for preparing company’s financial statements.
• Prepare product performance reports and quarterly actuarial reserve reports.
• Assessing the quality of data available for reserving purposes for all lines of business.
• Assist in preparation of claims reserve report to be submitted to the regulator.
• Assist in quantitative analysis of the data to be used for preparing regulator mandated report on financial health of the company (FCR- Financial Condition report)

Requirements :

• 3-5 years of experience in the actuarial team
• Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, statistical analysis programs e.g. PySpark, Python/R, SAS
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with WTW reserving tool ResQ and pricing tool Radar would be beneficial.
