Responsibilities
The role offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of actuarial work supporting the company’s regulatory and internal capital reporting including the following:
- To develop and deliver complex actuarial models to support Solvency II and Economic value calculations.
- To carry out various tasks for Capital Modelling and Reporting along with ad-hoc process improvements.
- To support in full with-profits liability calibration and validation and to calculate Out of Model adjustments (OOM).
- To support delivery of project within Finance team.
- To support in improvement to overall control environment, customers outcomes and a reduction in Prudential UK’s operational risk.
Additional Responsibilities
- Familiarising with WP / NPUL products and modelling methodology of these products in heavy models.
- To gain exposure on modelling company’s assets.
- Work closely with colleagues at different geographical location, ensuring seamless communications.
- Seek and act on opportunities to develop wider and deeper technical and business understanding of capital models.
- Build good working relationships with stakeholders in wider team and outside of the team.
- Maintaining effective communication with Stakeholders and leadership team members.
- Compliance – Ensure understanding and adherence to Prudential’s Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements.

- Maintain and develop knowledge of technical requirements of job together with the framework in which M&G India operates.
- Ability to confidently express own viewpoint and to clearly and simply communicate actuarial issues within their team.

- Good level of understanding of the financial dynamics of our business and how key factors influence the various financial measures
Experience
- 1-3 years of relevant data analysis or actuarial experience.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline / Masters in Actuarial Science/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/Engineering/MBA
