Responsibilities:

  • Working on annual and quarterly Reserve review process
  • Working on annual and quarterly Actuals vs Expected (AvE) reports;
  • Contributing to the improvement, creation, and/or implementation of processes to expand capabilities, improve efficiency, and enhance effectiveness;
  • Working on Large claims adjustment to support the reserve review and AvE processes;
  • Improving/updating new and existing quarterly and annual processes.
  • Working on netting down of the Reserves from Gross of RI to Net of RI
  • Working on IFRS reporting

Qualifications:

  1. 3+ years of actuarial experience.
  2. Good actuarial exam progress in general insurance and preferably SP7&SP8 in IFOA/IAI
  3. Prefer Reserve review and Reserve risk experience in general insurance
  4. Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel and SQL.
  5. Working knowledge of Word, VBA, other MS Office applications.
  6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide clear and concise verbal and written communications of analyses and results;
  7. Should be well organized and able to maintain good documentation and record keeping.
  8. Strong communication skills
