Role – Valuations & Shareholder Reporting

Responsibilities

  • Computation of Statutory Reserves and Solvency Ratio
  • Recommendation of Statutory Assumption basis
  • Computation of Asset Share and carrying out Bonus Supportability Investigation
  • Generation of movement analysis of Asset share and FFA
  • Conducting Analysis of Surplus
  • Performing expense allocation on monthly basis
  • Checking of Regulatory Forms and Reporting pertaining to Statutory Valuation and Reinsurance Administration
  • Conducting Movement analysis of Statutory Reserves and producing checks in terms of appropriate reserve ratios
  • Train the team in actuarial techniques related to valuation of liabilities
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and practice standards

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a core life insurance company
  • Proficiency in Prophet, DCS, SQL and MS-Access
  • Completion of at least 10 actuarial papers as per the new curriculum
