Guide to applying for exemptions from IAI and IFoA:

1. IAI Exemptions against IFoA Papers cleared-

• IAI will allow exemptions paper-wise for all the Core Principles, Core Practices, and Specialist Principles subjects from IFoA retrospectively with effect from 01 Jan 2022.
• Exemption policy under IAI Education Curriculum 2019: for any CM, CS, CB, CP or SP exams cleared from IFoA, the correspondng exams will be recognised from IAI.
• The terms and conditions for exemption by IAI remain as in vogue on 31 Dec 21. Please refer this link- Click here
• Log in to your IAI account by clicking here:
  a. Go to the Exemptions tab and select the IFoA papers that you have passed.
  b. Submit the asked documents and complete the exemption process.

2. IFoA Exemptions against IFoA Papers cleared-

• IFoA does not provide exemptions for the exams which the student has cleared from IAI.
