Responsibilities :

 

  • Quarterly reserves analysis for Division EMEA P&C business and Global lines
  • Reporting of quarterly results to senior management and the Reserve Committee
  • Estimation of payment patterns
  • Preparation of materials in respect of statutory reporting requirements for legal entities for Swiss Re
  • Support various ongoing and ad-hoc initiatives such as improvements to existing tools and processes, portfolio costing deep dives and pricing feedback
  • Regular liaison meetings with other departments such as Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Finance and Risk Management
  • Active collaboration with actuaries from other locations

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics or equivalent field
  • 4+ years of experience in the P&C actuarial domain
  • Sound mathematical and actuarial background, actively working towards the attainment of an actuarial qualification
  • Ability to work independently, accurately and deliver within timelines
  • Strong data organization and analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance accounting principles
  • Experience in any programming language (VBA, R, Python) and visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) is an advantage
  • Experience in statutory reporting & Solvency II is an advantage
