Currently have openings in the following departments –

• General Insurance – Reserving
• Life Insurance – Pricing and Reserving
• Employee Benefits
• IFRS17 reporting

Roles and Responsibility:

1. The intern would be expected to develop skills and work in close collaboration with the other stakeholders.

2. The intern should be able to work independently as well as in a group.

3. Provide technical assistance involving research, statistical and numerical analysis of the reports, and solving problems.

4. Assist in developing Actuarial Models

5. Assist in Actuarial Reporting

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in commerce, mathematics, economics, statistics or related field, or equivalent

2. At least 2 CM/CS/CB series exams passed.

3. Strong analytical, communication, organization, prioritization, and decision-making skills.

4. Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Python / VBA / SQL or similar software is preferred.

Duration:

The ideal duration of this internship will be 6 months. We believe in long-term engagements with our employees, the internship will convert to a permanent job given quality work is maintained by the candidate.

The candidate must have a modern laptop and access to high-speed internet to perform internship duties and assignments.
